Job Obligations:

  • Achieves restaurant operational targets by contributing information and tips to strategic strategies and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, putting into action production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying styles, deciding system improvements, applying change.
  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an gross annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing diversities, initiating corrective actions.
  • Programs menus by seeing many chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus.
  • Adjustments costs by reviewing part control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; making sure high quality of prep.
  • Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the restrictions of the liquor commission payment.
  • Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control; monitoring accuracy of charges.
  • Publicizes the restaurant by creating and positioning advertisements; welcoming food editors to review the restaurant; contacting local, regional, and national mags with feature ideas; motivating local businesses to carry social events at the restaurant.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and improving sanitation standards and techniques; complying with legal rules; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans; preserving security and sprinkler systems; maintaining building and pathways.
